Small casual fine dining restaurant seeks a motivated and hard-working team player!

Our restaurant defines “small but mighty.” At 26 seats, we are not the typical definition of high volume but do require high quality in a fast paced environment. We are seeking a candidate with an eagerness to learn and positive attitude!

We are located at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain ski resort, in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. As a business we seek to provide our staff with a positive work/life balance. START DATE: ASAP

As a Back Waiter / Dishwasher, you must have the ability to:

• Stand for the duration of your shift.
• Properly set up and maintain a 3-bay sink wash set up
• Properly use dishwasher, including cleaning after each service and de-liming.
• Clean and put away all dishes, glassware and kitchen equipment in their designated spaces.
• Sweep & wash floors
• Work efficiently and cleanly
• Interact with guests
• Clear tables of dirty dishes.
• Wash & Fold kitchen towels
• Remove trash, recycling and compost to their appropriate areas.
• Be a good teammate – work together with kitchen and front of house staff to achieve a smooth and high-quality service.

Qualifications

*cleanliness and professionalism both in appearance and work habits. *reliable transportation *ability to think outside the box *previous restaurant/hospitality experience a plus *Must have housing secured.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $13.80 - $15.00/hour.
