Baker Position Description:
We have plenty to do all the time, so finding the best fit initially for your personality and skills is step one, while we will work with you to develop more skills and take on more responsibilities over time. Bakers will:
- “Ball” cookie dough for baking
- Decorate cookies for sale
- Prepare orders and presents to customers
- Perform many other general tasks like folding boxes, cleaning, and taking inventory as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 16 years old (hours limited by PA Law)
- At least 18 years old to operate dough mixers
- Availability one shift (Friday or Saturday) every weekend per month required
- Work permit from your school if under 18
- Have a Food Handlers Permit or obtain one within 1 week of hire
- Includes Guarantee Tip Minimum:
- This role includes TIP SHARING, with a guarantee of at least $4 per hour included in the advertized hourly rate
- Tips are not capped, so when they go over $4 per hour, you earn that too
- The minimum guaranteed tip amount is subject to change every calendar quarter
Shift Options:
- Store hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. -and- Friday - Saturday 8 a.m. - midnight. We are closed Sundays!
- Flexible scheduling is offered where we match your schedule to your pre-communicated availability
- Required to be available at least 2 weekend shifts per month (weekend shifts = Friday or Saturday night, or Saturday day shift
- Shifts are available as early as 6 am on weekdays, with closing shifts scheduled up to 1 hour past closing time
