Responsibilites and Duties:
- Working supervisor is responsible for training staff for 5 star service.
- Supports the Catering and Sales in directing work associated with all aspects of catering functions.
- Serves as an onsite contact for clients, coordinators, and vendors.
- Oversees service personnel to ensure the adherence to set guidelines and etiquette.
- Demonstrate core values of Goodwill Industries by modeling Service, Ownership, Accountability and Respect (SOAR).
- Work with Catering and Sales Manager to establish standards of service, promoting strong service orientation toward Goodwill Industries Hospitality employees.
- Serve as liaison with kitchen staff for timing of deliveries of foodstuffs for scheduled events.
- Responsible for room set-ups as specified by event contract.
- Act as on-site, front-of-the house lead person for designated events.
- Ensure correct utilization of non-food items to reduce costs.
- Responsible for cleanliness and order of catering supplies and catering storage area.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the co-ordination of food and beverage services.
- Ability to work with a team or individually.
- Ability to recognize importance of contributing to a team environment and support other team members to provide excellence to clients.
- Outgoing personality comfortable in social gatherings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
