Bartender and Cashier Job at Tropical Smokehouse
Tropical Smokehouse is South Florida's best new Barbecue restaurant.
Currently Seeking:
Front of House: Server/Host (we call it Ambassador) & Bartender
Pay: Tipped Position, plus high Base Hourly (averages around $25-40/HR seasonally)
Job Requirements: Strong Sense of Urgency, Independence, Outgoing/Upbeat Personality, Full Availability
Restaurant experience is a must, but we are more interested in your character than your resume. We have a casual and unique style of service. We run a small team and expect them to hustle everyday. If you thrive in a low-pressure & high-speed environment, this job is for you.
If you were previously a bartender or server, and you are yet to return to the workforce, this is an excellent opportunity.
Who we are:
Chef Rick Mace has nearly +20 Years in Fine Dining spanning from Las Vegas to Vermont. He has honed his craft and worked in some of the country's finest kitchens - with the greatest chefs. Now he is channeling that to open the first Florida BBQ concept focused on Smoked Fish, Burgers, and More.
General Manager Jason Lakow is a West Palm Beach native. After attending Cornell's Hotel School in upstate New York, he worked in Fine Dining and Casual Dining in NYC for several years. After moving home 6 years ago, he is now opening his second restaurant in West Palm Beach.
