JOB TITLE: Bartender

REPORTS TO: FOH Manager

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years experience as a food bartender.
  • Basic knowledge of wine and spirits.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
  • Must be able to spend a minimum of 90% of working time standing.
  • The ability to walk, bend, kneel, handle, reach, squat, crawl, climb, stoop, and other related physical activities.
  • Comfortable working occasionally in walk-in coolers.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • The ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with our guests in the primary language of the restaurant specific to location (Primary English).
  • Safety and sanitation fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills
  • Food Handler Card
  • Tips Certification or equivalent

TEAMWORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to take and give direction.
  • Can balance the overall goals of the company with day to day operations.
  • Create positive relationships with coworkers by treating all members of the property staff with respect.
  • Display, encourage, and inspire high morale and motivation.
  • Report employee relation issues of a sensitive nature to direct supervisor.

Basic purpose

Responsible for setting-up the bare following the hotel and restaurant standards.

Mixing of drinks, upselling, make our guests fill in a great environment

Service and satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of IHR standards and profit maximization

Job Duties:

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
  • Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
