Job Title: Benefits Administrator

Position Location: Miramar, FL (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for the administration and compliance of the company’s Benefits. The Benefits Associate will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of the functions below:

Essential Functions:

  • Assists the Corporate Benefits System Manager with benefits related transactions
  • Update and maintain benefits related procedures as necessary
  • Provide customer service-related on questions regarding eligibility, plan coverages, and claims procedures
  • Review and administer the company’s new hire enrollments and qualify life events
  • Assist during open enrollment process
  • Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate
  • Work with leave of absence carrier to ensure employee requested claims are processed and handled accordingly
  • Receive and respond to Medical Support Orders
  • Process Cobra events in Dayforce, to ensure Cobra carrier receives information to generate and mail out notices
  • Conduct periodic audit of the benefits data in Dayforce HCM system

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent required
  • Prior Ceridian or other HCM payroll related system management
  • Basic understanding of Wage & Hour / Benefits or prior experience preferred
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Must be well organized and a visionary & adapt to a fast-paced moving environment
  • Previous experience handling benefits preferred
  • Competency in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Well-versed in excel with formulas and pivot tables
  • Maintain confidentiality and interface with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to anticipate team needs and respond accordingly
  • Must be an excellent multi-tasker and have high attention to detail
  • Friendly and open demeanor and a team player with a positive attitude
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
