Benefits Coordinator
LHH is proactively recruiting for a Benefits Coordinator role in East Orange, NJ. This position is a 100% onsite and strictly contract (Temp). This position will focus on technical and administrative duties that pertain to the employee’s Benefits including health, welfare, mandatory retirement, and voluntary plans. If you feel you have experience look no further. This anticipated pay range for this position is between $24-28/hr. Looking for someone who can start ASAP. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Responsibilities:
Complete enrollment process from start to finish for new hires
Updating any information in their database
Maintaining records and processing payments for health, spending accounts, pension, supplemental plan, and health savings accounts
Prepare reports when needed
Must be customer service oriented to assist those with benefits, pension and any other knowledge they need
Assist new hire orientation
Reporting worker’s comp claims
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Accounting or a related field
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office Suites
2-3 years’ experience in Benefits is a Must
Education:
Employment Type: Contract (TEMP)
Salary: This anticipated pay range for this position is between $24-28/hr.
