Title: Big Data Lead or Senior big data developer
Location: Tampa, FL

Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop Big Data applications using Spark (Java or Scala), Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, HBase, MongoDB
· Mentor a team (onshore/offshore model) for Big Data developers.
Experience & Skillset
MUST-HAVE
· Total IT / development experience of 8 -12 + years (5+ years in Big Data)
· Experience in Big Data Lead role for atleast 2 years.
· Experience in Spark (primary Java or Scala) developing Big Data applications on Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, MongoDB
· Deep knowledge of Kafka and Spark with Java libraries to develop and debug complex data engineering challenges.
· Experience in developing sustainable data driven solutions with current new generation data technologies to drive our business and technology strategies
· Exposure in deploying applications on CDH or Cloud platforms
· Proficient in designing and developing Realtime Ingestion Framework using Kafka and Java.
· At least 4 years of developing applications in Agile with Monitoring, Build Tools, Version Control, Unit Test, TDD, CI/CD, Change Management to support DevOps
· At least 6 years of development experience on Data technologies
GOOD-TO-HAVE
· Banking domain knowledge
· Banking Risk, Fraud or Private Banking use cases
· ETL / Data Warehousing and Data Modelling experience prior to Big Data experience
· Knowledge on AWS stack for big data and machine learning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $114,303.00 - $123,282.00 per year
