Job Description:

The Bill of Materials Analyst assists the sales team in the look up, identification, and costing of heavy duty truck and trailer products. New Life Transport Parts has a network of direct affiliations with OE manufactures who provide access to their vin and bill of material information for use in the heavy-duty aftermarket. In addition to these affiliations, this position will assist in acquiring information from 3rd party resources for all other makes of equipment relevant to the strategic initiatives of the company. This information is used in a proprietary manner to support our sales staff and distribution partners in the repair of HD equipment. The analyst will also support database functions pertaining to the data supplied and obtained during the identification of product information.

We are a premier distributor of Heavy-duty Truck and Trailer equipment and components throughout North and Central America comprising of 30+ brick and mortar distribution points. Objectives:

• Discover and utilize tools available to achieve the company’s sales goals and objectives.
• Support internal and external customers with inquiries pertaining to equipment BOM’s
• Populate the BOM database with service part data.
• Become a resource for industry and OEM specific information

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Field internal and external customer inquiries timely manner
• Compile data into preset database
• Be professional and concise in all correspondence
• Become a subject matter expert in trailer make up and components

Experience:

• Associates Degree Required - Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and comprehend simple component drawings and exploded diagrams
• High level of technical aptitude
