Billing Associate
Stockton - Permanent - $18-$20/hour
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (Start time between 7am and 9am ok)

Looking to get back into the workforce using your general accounting and administrative work skills? Look no further? We have a position that is responsible for processing all billing for a well established freight express company in Stockton and to perform specific accounting functions and provide accounting job back-up. You will support the strategic direction of the organization. Must demonstrate integrity, heritage, fairness, quality, and community service in the performance of one’s functions and responsibilities to ensure that the department goals are achieved.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of related work experience as a billing associate. The schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (Start time between 7am and 9am ok), must be comfortable with some Saturday work.
On the job responsibilities will include:
- Input freight bills and process load billing on computer using Truck Mate software.
- Invoice freight bills.
- E-mail or mail freight bills to customers.
- Accounting duties as assigned.
- Provide back-up for front desk including telephone, and accounting jobs as assigned.

- High School diploma, some college preferred.
- Minimum two years billing/accounting experience.
- Ability to read and understand materials commonly used in job function.
- Proficient English, grammar, spelling, punctuation and math skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, basic Excel.
