BIM FIELD COORDINATOR Job at Brycon Construction
- Meet with Owners, Architects, Engineers and Trade contractors, either in-person or via virtual conferencing software, to manage content development and coordinate from conceptual design to detailed construction model.
- Assist with BIM Execution and Implementation plan for multiple project.
- Develop and manage BIM Coordination schedules with project team
- Compile project models from subcontractors into Navisworks
- Manage clash detection in a proactive manner to ensure documents and models are coordinated and comply with the project’s Scope of Work as determined by the Project Development team
- Collaborate with design subcontractors to ensure all constructability issues are resolved prior to fabrication or mobilization.
- Write and issue records of discussion (ROD) / request for information (RFI) to client
Qualifications
- 1 - 3+ years of experience in BIM/VDC design and construction coordination
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree a plus
- Working knowledge of:
- Autodesk Architecture and Structure Suite
- AutoCad 2D and 3D
- Revit
- Navisworks
- Autodesk BIM 360 cloud solutions
- Architecture experience is a plus
- Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, or Framing experience is a plus
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
- Ability to work independently and can manage multiple priorities
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and 10-year criminal background check
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
