Job Description:
BlackArch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, is a Southeast based, middle-market M&A advisory firm whose professionals have closed more than 400 transactions across a broad range of industries, with enterprise values ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion. BlackArch offers a full spectrum of advisory services to financial sponsors, private companies, and diversified corporations, addressing the needs of owner-operators, founders, and shareholders of private companies with specialized services that include M&A advisory, strategic advisory and private capital solutions.
The firm has built significant sector knowledge in key industries and has organized select industry practice groups to meet its clients’ needs in the areas of:

Automotive Aftermarket
Building Products and Infrastructure
Business and Professional Services
Consumer and Retail
Distribution and Supply Chain Management

the BlackArch Investment Banker will bring strong M&A execution experience and a proven ability to generate business, especially in the middle market. S/he will bring dedicated industry expertise. The Senior Banker will be tasked with developing BlackArch’s client relationships in his/her sector, as well as overseeing the transaction process.
Responsibilities
Identifies and develops the most complex business opportunities
Evaluates and analyzes client needs, including the formulation and positioning of a client’s distinctive qualities with a focus on competitive differentiation
Maintains client communication
Leads complex transaction structuring and execution efforts
Acts as a mentor to junior bankers
May supervise junior bankers
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a reputable undergraduate college / university
Twelve (12) years of prior experience in Investment Banking, including strong M&A knowledge and the proven ability to model solutions for clients
Active network of relationships and industry clients
Preferences
Master's in Business Administration (MBA)
Skills and Competencies
Proven record of generating advisory revenues
Strong record of strategic access and successful outcomes
