Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for providing effective behavioral and educational consultation to several school districts in central New Hampshire as well as home based ABA therapy to children and their families on an individual basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Autism/Behavior Coordinators, Autism/Behavior Specialists working within school districts
  • Supervise BCBA and RBT candidates within the agency
  • Create and assist staff with the development and implementation of behavior plans, ABA programs and other appropriate programs for students with Autism and/or other disabilities that present learning/behavior challenges
  • Oversee initial program set-up, including initial assessment and assessment-based goals and objectives
  • Facilitate team consultation meetings with classroom teachers, paraeducators, and related services providers regarding IEPs, behavior plans, treatment plans, curriculum modifications/accommodations, and social/emotional challenges impeding learning and development
  • Train staff in the implementation of treatment plans, data collection procedures, and the principals of ABA
  • Develop and monitor individualized Positive Behavior Intervention Support Plans and developmentally appropriate skill acquisition plans
  • Respond to behavioral crises as needed and provide support, modeling, and behavior support plans to assist in meeting the needs of the child

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree (M.S.) in Education, Psychology, or related field
  • BCBA certification and licensure in the state of New Hampshire is preferred (applicants who are planning to sit for the BCBA exam, in the near future, will be considered)
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct work with children of all ages in schools and/or specialized setting; 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  • Expertise in the field of autism spectrum disorders
  • Expertise in the field of children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Experience working in the public school is preferred
