Field Station: Dinosaurs is seeking team members to perform duties as a cashier and guest relations associate for our Box Office, Dino-Bites concessions stand and Tricera-Shops gift shop.

This position would begin early March and hours available to work would vary depending on time of year through October. Typically this position will have the chance to work between 12-40 hours for the majority of the year. This role would also have an opportunity for additional hours in December during our Holly Jolly Jurassic Holiday event and to continue this role when the Field Station returns in 2024. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to pickup a few extra hours, someone working in education who has time off during holidays or as a first job.

As part of the team at Field Station: Dinosaurs, you'll be expected to provide effective sales transactions of our products, Family Memberships, concessions items, etc. and assisting in answering guest questions.

As a retail sales associate, your day-to-day job duties and responsibilities might include:

• Greeting customers
• Answering customer questions related to merchandise and store policies
• Recommending products or services based on customer needs
• Processing customer payments and refunds through the use of a POS
• Occasional operation of our green screen photo printer

You'll also be responsible for daily store operations, including but not limited to:

• Opening and closing of the box office/concessions stand/store in accordance with operating hours
• Stocking, organizing, and taking inventory of merchandise
• Keeping the store clean
• Accurate cash counting and reconciliation

Some previous cashier or retail experience is preferred, but not required. In addition to previous job experience, these qualities and skills can help set you apart from other job seekers:
