Position Summary:

As a Clipper Brand Ambassador, you’ll have a unique opportunity to communicate, engage and support local businesses – the backbone of the U.S. economy. You will play a critical role in keeping the American dream alive by engaging with local businesses owners to identify ways for them to reach more customers and grow their business. In doing so, you will develop a professional network, learn, and apply sales and marketing techniques, cultivate a deep knowledge of the direct mail and digital advertising business, and develop and grow strong relationships with local businesses and merchants in your community.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Visit local businesses daily for valuable face-to-face conversations to present and educate them on how Clipper can help them grow
• Leverage interpersonal skills to quickly relate to prospects face-to-face with the goal of setting appointments with a sales rep who can help solve their marketing challenges
• Maintain knowledge on solutions and services to inform prospects
• Build rapport with business owners, decision makers, and Sales Reps
• Help to establish new accounts, obtain orders, develop solutions, and strengthen customer relations
• May host or participate in marketing or promotional events
• Ability to meet or exceed weekly prospecting and appointment-setting quotas/goals
• Participate in continuing education training workshops to prepare for career advancement opportunities

Experience, Skills & Abilities:

• Associates degree (typically in marketing, sales, or business) or equivalent experience.
• 2 years prior experience in outside sales preferred but not required
• A passion for helping small businesses succeed
• Confident, friendly, and outgoing. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with prospects face-to-face
• Proficient in using technology for daily work activities
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Ability to work independently
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and proof of auto insurance are required
• This is a field position requiring you to visit dozens of businesses each day. You will be moving about your community, getting in and out of your vehicle up to 40 times per day
