ABOUT THE ROLE

The company is looking for 2 Brand Assistants to help drive the growth of our travel brands,
Hotala.com and RentByOwner.com. The Brand Assistant will focus full time on their brand and ensure that business and technical tasks are correctly implemented. They will monitor and report on all aspects of the brand including performance metrics. The person will liaise closely with Company Leadership with respect to strategic direction.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Assist with the managing and promotion of one of our travel websites.
● Ensure that the voice of the brand is consistently reflected on the site.
● Deal with support inquiries, content updates, and day-to-day administration.
● Maintain brand popularity among the customers
● Assist in developing and implementing brand positioning strategies
● Conduct and document market research to understand customer tastes and requirements.
● Help with the production of advertisements, promotional materials, and mail campaigns.
● Research and maintain data on competitors and their products.
● Support Company Leadership with implementation of strategic and tactical plans.
● Coordinate brand-specific marketing and growth initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

● Bachelor’s degree is ideal but not necessary
● Should have prior experience in developing brands and/or driving marketing strategies
● Should have knowledge of SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, and other digital marketing initiatives
● Experience in E-commerce is preferred but not mandatory
● Must have working knowledge and experience with Google Suite (Google Docs), MS

Office Applications is a must
● Working knowledge and experience with Canva and/or other designing tools (Adobe

Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is an advantage
● Must have excellent writing skills and above average communication skills
● Should have experience creating strong, engaging content
● Should be jack-of-all-trades
● Must have excellent research, organizational, and time management skills
● Must have strong listening skills and above average communication skills
● Must be able to problem-solve and be good at multitasking
● Must have a keen eye to details
● Should be motivated, and assertive
● Must have a reliable and strong internet connection

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $900.00 - $1,500.00 per month

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Experience:

  • developing brands and/or driving marketing strategies: 1 year (Preferred)
  • SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, and other digital marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
