THIS POSITION WILL INITIALLY BE BASED IN THE HOME OFFICE AND MAY TRANSITION TO A PERIODIC ALTERNATIVE WORK EVIRONMENT AFTER TRAINING AND CONTINGENT UPON ONGOING JOB PERFORMANCE.

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Work incoming mail which includes scanning and routing mail to appropriate staff member and/or Nexsure client file.
  • Input of prospect, customer, and coverage data (from policies and applications) into the agency management system (AMS).
  • Perform data quality cleanup in Nexsure.
  • Following up with companies and agents for underwriting requests, policy changes, premium audits, and binders.
  • Record/manage checks on check log and deliver daily to Accounting Department.
  • Route email correspondence from Brokerage Central Inboxes directly to agents and Nexsure client file.
  • Authorize supply requisitions for Brokerage personnel.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls.
  • Excellent customer service to GFB agents and CSRs is expected.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

  • The employee must pay attention to detail in composing and proofing materials.
  • Process daily downloads in Nexsure.
  • Process monthly agent changes.
  • Must be self-motivated with initiative and ability to make decisions and accept responsibility.
  • Be flexible to respond to unexpected situations that require immediate attention. EOE M/F/D/V AA

QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma (or GED) is required.
  • 1 year work experience as an insurance customer service representative, or the equivalent in related work experience with a property and casualty insurance company/agency required.
  • This position requires the incumbent to have good communication skills, command of the English language in order to prepare grammatically correct documents, ability to handle large volumes of work at one time, ability to interact with other employees within the Department and Company and have a basic knowledge of the terminology used in the insurance industry.
  • Must maintain a valid Georgia Drivers License.
