Senior Citizens Inc. is currently looking for a Buildings and Grounds Manager. This position will maintain facilities, grounds, and the vehicle fleet. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance and repairs of the facilities, equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) of Senior Citizens Inc. to include the physical locations of 3025 Bull Street (main office) and 1407 Wheaton Street (Meals on Wheels Kitchen).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensure building and grounds are neat and safe condition

· Prepare building for planned activities, including cleaning as needed , as well as moving equipment and furniture

· Performs painting and structural repair to masonry, woodwork, and furnishing

· Coordinate repairs and maintenance of facilities with contractors

· Coordinates repairs and maintenance of vehicles

· Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for vehicles, buildings, and grounds

· Maintain time and production records

· Ensure safety procedures are followed

· Complete monthly Fire Inspection and Safety Checklist for all facilities

· Coordinate and conducts annual safety drills for staff and tenants

· Assists with coordinating repairs for tenants

· Provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers

Other requirements include:

• 3-5 years of building maintenance and/or construction experience.
• Candidate must be highly organized.
• Must have excellent oral and written skills
• Candidate must have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
• Candidate must also have the ability to manage multiple tasks and oversee vendors in the completion of needed repairs and/or maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
