FULLTIME BUILDING & GROUNDS MAINTENANCE in Willmar
QUALIFICATIONS: Job Activities: Your services will be working remotely with the main office located in Willmar. The staff’s primary duties include overseeing all properties owned and managed by the agency to ensure they are safe, capable of performing their needed functions and keep up on routine maintenance and up keep. Research, hire and monitor contractors as needed for work performed on buildings. Also responsible for ordering and distributing supplies for buildings as needed. Coordinate sprinkler start up and shut down in appropriate seasons at sites. Coordinate lawn care and snow removal for sites that require it.
Education: GED or High School Diploma. (2) year degree in maintenance/construction type filed or equivalent experience.
Experience: At least 2 years experience in a maintenance/construction type role.
Skills & Knowledge: Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and ability to organize large amounts of information in a timely manner. Some administrative skills for planning and monitoring projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills preferred. Must be able to work independently on assigned projects. Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC and construction knowledge required. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds which may include squatting, bending and stretching.
