Surestay Plus Best Western is a full service resort located in Black River Falls.
Job description: We have an immediate opening for a Full Time Building Maintenance Supervisor with accountability for the proper workings of the hotel to include but not limited to electrical, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing and general facilities maintenance.
Job requirements
Ability to work on their own without constant supervision as well as supervise a maintenance texh. Responsibility of monitoring and maintaining the operations of both the interior and exterior areas of the property. Experience in a couple of construction trades such as refrigeration, electrical, carpentry, plumbing or mechanical are strongly preferred.
Follow hotel guidelines in a manner that offers continued protection of company assets, associates and guest's safety.
Essential Job Functions
General knowledge of procedures of repairing and/or replacing all types of refrigeration, electrical and plumbing equipment.
Handles all in-house repairs with regard to electrical, plumbing, mechanical, refrigeration, carpentry, etc. Utilizes basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance. Performs care program in rooms and public areas of hotel. Maintains tools, work spaces, equipment, property exterior and grounds to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Experience
2 years Maintenance Experience or skills in a specific trade preferred,
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, walk and lift up to 40 pounds..
Position pay rate is hourly depending upon experience. Employees are eligible for discounted stays at most Best Western Hotels nationwide. Submit resume online or in person at the hotel.
