Role: Business Analyst / Scrum Master
Location: Remote (Must live within 3 hours of Stafford, Virginia)
Salary: $90,000
Contract or Full-Time
Recruiting Heroes LLC is looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Scrum Master! The Business Analyst will work within an Agile, cross-functional team to serving as a business analyst/scrum master of a new web-based application hosted in a Cloud environment. The Senior Business Analyst works collaboratively with other team members, stakeholders and end users to define, develop and document requirements. A self-starter who needs minimal supervision, is comfortable breaking down complex requirements, and comes with a team-first approach to the position is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Working within a development team and facilitates scrum ceremonies/meetings
- Work on a highly complex/high profile project
- Work with stakeholders to prioritize development
- Act as liaison between the development team and client to articulate methods to implement business needs within cloud architecture
- Develop and document requirements based on an expert understanding of the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) system and user requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
- Experience working with the Federal Government
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools, such as Excel and SQL
- Experience with business process modeling and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Experience in an Agile development environment
