Description:

Business Development Associates (BDA) serve as the interface between our clients and our in-house technical experts. BDAs work directly with clients to understand the strategy and technical demand of a specific client and provide guidance on which of our technical investigation or testifying services offer the best solution.

BDA focuses on fostering existing client relationships and cultivates new client relationships. This position spends 40% of their time developing new client relationships and 60% managing and growing current account relationships. A successful BDA will require attention to detail and quality time management to manage and maintain current client accounts. They will enjoy flexibility and the opportunity to travel and grow new accounts within their region. The BDA will leverage company sponsored conferences, client meetings and other in person and virtual events to develop new client relationships. The geographic coverage for this position is the state of Georgia, with an emphasis on the city of Atlanta and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen relationships and grow business from repeat and new clients
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with clients in their office to develop business
  • Attend and participate in conferences and networking events
  • Coordinate partnerships to host speaking presentations that showcases our services
  • Manage sponsorships with professional organizations within your sales territory
  • Field, manage, and follow-up on incoming leads and inquiries
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities and results
  • Work with local and national experts to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Stay current with developments in the legal industry and identify new opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of business development/sales experience serving a professional services market
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a comprehensive team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent client relations skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow through, and follow up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to travel to events and meetings (20% travel)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Oracle/NetSuite systems a plus
  • Experience working with CRM software
