Business Development Manager Job at Four Seasons Produce
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing full truck-load freight brokerage sales as well as laying the groundwork for a sales team. This position will be expected to meet sales and margin goals. The chosen candidate will have a unique opportunity to be a part of a growing team with an excellent reputation within the industry. What you get to do
- Meet monthly sales and margin goals
- Work closely with the Ops team to cover customers freight needs
- Support the sales team in building out structure
- Actively source and onboard new freight and customers
- Leverage technology to enhance service to the customer and to strengthen the capability of Sunrise Logistics
- Assist in creating effective marketing and brand establishment within the produce industry
What you need
- 3-5 years freight brokerage experience in the produce or refrigerated industry
- Self-starter with a desire for growth and excellent customer service
- Experience within the refrigerated transportation industry
- Track record of continuously improving and working to better one's self within a business role
- Proven experience in effective planning and problem solving within a team environment
- Exceptional computer and Microsoft Office skills required
