JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Business Office Manager handles the resident's financial accounts, assists the financial director, and works with insurance companies under the director's advisement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General office duties include filing, data input, and processing paperwork.
  • Assure accurate data entry of client information
  • Record and confirm daily census for payers
  • Identify and process accounts that are aging and work closely with Billing for collections
  • Communicate with residents and their families regarding their bills (interpersonal, emails, mailing statements, etc.)
  • Assist with Medicaid applications and recertification
  • Support the facility with resident trust activity and monitor resident funds for appropriateness and redirection of income to cover NAMI
  • Work with insurance companies to ensure coverage

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree OR minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Management experience
  • Understanding of insurance and benefits
  • Organized
  • Time management skills
