Business Systems Analyst (Entry Level) Job at GeBBs Consulting
- This is an entry level position, looking for someone with MIS (Masters Information Systems) and Cybersecurity.
- Perform analysis for business and user needs; define and document requirements; recommend and coordinate the development, enhancement, and maintenance of a customer's business systems, processes and products of small to medium size/scope.
- Combines industry expertise with information technology to develop innovative business solutions.
- Leverages industry knowledge and customer relationships to identify new business opportunities.
- Promotes, recommends, and participates in process improvement activities and training of peers and customers.
- Develop test deliverables as required including a test matrix and test plan. Facilitates the resolution of test defects.
- Produce monthly reporting (e.g., contract compliance reporting, reporting out of Planview, etc.)
- Conduct internal quality assurance checks against federated data sources to ensure data integrity
- Performs analysis to assess business and user needs
- Recommends and coordinates development/enhancements to meet customers' needs
- Develops test strategies and test plans
- Performs user acceptance testing and validate results
- Identify and document user acceptance test defects
- Facilitate walk through of system changes and test results
- Operates within resource (time and money) constraints to achieve results
- Obtain customer sign off on project deliverables
- Develops Plan readiness criteria
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Recognition of what and when to escalate issues to management
- Developing and maintaining SharePoint lists, libraries, etc.
- Familiarity with DUO, Citrix, Planview
- Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills), Teams
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
