How you will make an impact:
The Tools and Test Development team is responsible for creating manual and automated test cases that are used in our testing frameworks.
As the Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Tools that help the automation effort (Mimosa, Lapetus, SMITE/AutoSMITE).

Responsibilities

    • Work with software engineers, program managers, requirements managers, and other product stakeholders to understand product features and the complete set of requirements to the software.
    • Maintain current test software architecture and develop new solutions
    • Responsible for the creation, definition, and implementation of the framework
    • Prepare estimates and track development progress
    • Support and development of internal test tools and automated frameworks

Skills

Must have

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, software engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum 3-5 years engineering experience in software programming, systems
    • Expertise in software design
    • Experience creating unit and functional tests
    • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Experience in Programming in C# using Visual Studio
    • Experience with git, or similar source control
    • Experience developing software under a defined software process (preferably Agile)
    • Experience using .Net, Windows Applications, and creating REST services
    • Experience with automation frameworks such as Appium/Selenium
    • Experience creating Windows desktop applications
    • Experience writing testing in a behavioral drive framework like mspec or rspec
    • Must have legal right to work in the US.

Nice to have

    • Experience in Automotive area would be a plus
