C-Store Cashier Job at ARCHETYPE Investments
Our C-Store is looking for a motivated Lead Cashier for multiple locations throughout Wilkesboro and Yadkin county.
Positon Summary:
The Lead Cashier works to support the success and profitability of the store. They hold a crucial role because they created the first and last impression with customers in their store every day. Key responsibilities include ringing up customers, cleaning and stocking the store, and providing superior customer service. Hiring immediately for full-time and part-time cashiers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register POS system
- Complete cash register paperwork
- Perform register counts
- Stock shelves with inventory
- Stock cooler with drinks
- Maintain cleanliness of the store/bathrooms
- Provide customers with a positive experience
- Greet and assist customers
Prerequisites:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
Experience: 1 Year in Retail Environment (preferred).
Essential Functions:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Basic mathematical and strong communication skills are needed. Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled. Must be able to reliably report to work on time, as scheduled.
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register (cashier). Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Full Time/Part Time and Day Shift/Weekend Shift positions vary by location.
Compensation: Starting at $12/hr, plus potential monthly bonus.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
