Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cable TV Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing cable television systems for residential and commercial customers.

Cable TV Installer Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and troubleshoot cable television systems and related equipment, including digital set-top boxes, modems, and routers.
• Read and interpret signal level meters, cable maps, and installation diagrams.
• Climb ladders and work on roofs to install and repair equipment. Must be ok being 28' up in the air. Good ladder etiquette a must!
• Provide excellent customer service, including explaining the cable system and equipment to customers and answering their questions.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment while working.
• Experienced cable TV installers keep detailed records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Satellite TV Installer: Similar to a cable TV installer, satellite TV installers are responsible for installing and repairing satellite television systems for residential and commercial customers.

• Telecommunications Technician: Telecommunications technicians install, repair, and maintain communication systems, including cable TV, telephone, and internet systems.

• Low-Voltage Systems Installer: Low-voltage systems installers work with low-voltage electrical systems, including cable television and data networks.

• Network Cable Installer: Network cable installers install, terminate, and test network cabling systems, including fiber optic and copper cables.

• Security System Installer: Security system installers install and repair security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

• Alarm Technician: Alarm technicians install, maintain, and repair security and fire alarm systems.

Requirements:

• Must provide your own work truck capable of safely transporting a 28' ladder.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience installing and repairing cable television systems.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
