SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for a variety of planning, design, and implementation engineering initiatives. The CAD Supervisor will be required to determine specifications for each project and work with Company affiliated engineers to ensure drawings are accurate as applicable to each project and maintain timelines to ensure project completion on schedule, while complying with federal and state regulations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct supervision of assigned staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Develop layouts for new project installations

• Develop budget for new projects related to building maintenance and upkeep.
• Prepare supporting documentation and Appropriation Requests
• Sourcing of equipment, vendors, and materials for projects
• Planning /Preparation of project timelines
• Manage inter-departmental reviews, signoffs and planning for project installations
• Manage project installations
• Manage 3rd party contractors associated with project installations
• Manage building maintenance crew
• Maintain files, CAD prints and required documentation of all projects

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering is preferred with design and drafting experience a must.

• Regularly exposed to cold/hot and/or humid conditions, climate extremes are found in all areas of the plant

• Risk of electrical shock and vibration
• Noise level in the work environment is moderate but can be loud when in the production area
