Bakers/Cake Decorators working at Cafe L'Ami will be responsible for baking and decorating the various pastries and goods on the Cafe L'Ami menu.
CAFE STAFF
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards, while also delivering exceptional customer service.
- Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items.
- Follows L'AMI operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
- Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment in accordance with L'AMI cleanliness and safety standards.
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
- Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
- Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embraced working a flexible schedule.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
