Job Description
The Cafeteria Assistant is responsible for providing foods and beverages as well as customer service to patients, visitors, employees and other staff members in a timely manner in staff cafeteria. To ensure adequate supplies of foods, dishes and utensils for cafeteria use and adequate supplies of paper products. Responsible for serving foods in staff cafeteria on a daily basis and performing payment transactions. Responsible for ensuring safety and sanitation of the department and compliance with Regulatory Agencies.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 18 years of age. Able to read, write, and speak the English language. Demonstrates willingness to adapt to change. Mental and physical sufficient to meet the demands of the position. Professional appearance. Satisfactory references. Works well with all levels of staff, patients and families. Handle cash accurately. Ability to work with minimal supervision, reason and use good independent judgment consistently.
Employment Bonus - This full time position is eligible for a $3,000 employment bonus. The bonus will be paid out in two installments - first installment of $1,500 will be paid after 90 days of employment, final installment of $1,500 will be paid out after one year. Bonus subject to applicable taxes.
