Neurology practice in Walnut Creek seeks an experienced Call Center staff member with EPIC experience to work with our front office team. This is a FULL-TIME position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Compensation based on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Electronic Medical Records programs,(EPIC Preferred)
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Multiple Phone Lines
  • Medical Terminology
  • Experience with Medicare, HMO, and PPO insurance payers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proven problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Duties:

  • Answering multi-phone lines and triaging accordingly
  • Schedule/confirm appointments
  • Verify patient eligibility and referrals
  • Patient registration/Sending new patient packets
  • E-Chart Prepping
  • Perform all administrative and direct patient care tasks in a clinical setting to patients in the call center.

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • High School diploma required
  • Administrative Medical Assistant Course Certificate and/or Clinical Medical Assistant Course Certificate preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply if they are open to an administrative only position)

Experience:

  • One to two years Medical front experience preferred
  • One year EMR preferred- EPIC Preferred

Pay: $19.00 - $26.70 per hour
