The Call Center Representative is responsible for a variety of customer service and clerical duties in the clinic setting, including: Greeting patients over the phone Gathering necessary demographic information Making appointments Verifying and updating patient data Generating charge tickets for appointment Performing various clerical duties such as photocopying forms, reports and patient information, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Skills required: •Excellent customer service skills. •Ability to interact positively with people from various cultures and backgrounds. •Must successfully complete all training programs during probationary period. . Experience required: •Two years in a position interacting with the public using telephones. •Ability to work in call center with high volume calls and multiple distractions. •Excellent verbal communication skills. •Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions. •Insurance experience preferred.
Computer proficiency: •Keyboarding skills •Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail and internet products. •One year experience using data look-up and data entry functions on a PC based computer system.
