We are in search of a Campus Life Director who will develop deep relationships with students that turn into life-long relationships and generate followers of Jesus. This eclectic leadership role also offers the opportunity to minister to families, teachers, and the community as partnerships are formed to accomplish the mission of Youth for Christ.
Program Overview:
The vision of Youth for Christ is that every student in Omaha would hear and experience the Gospel of Jesus Christ with someone they know and trust. This is accomplished by living out the vision of YFC personally, planning intentional student activities and programs to build relationships, and cultivating connections with school personnel, volunteers, and donors.
Position Overview:
The role of the Campus Life Director is to build a fruitful and sustainable ministry through personal relationship evangelism, developing volunteers, weekly programs, and special events. Responsibilities include:
- Connecting with high school and middle school students on campus and social gathering places
- Planning/organizing/leading Campus Life clubs and events
- Partnering with school administration and staff
- Recruiting and developing committed volunteers
- Collaborating with local churches, schools, businesses, donors, and staff to further the mission of YFC
- Actively living out one’s personal Christian faith, commitment to spiritual growth, and involvement in a local church
Qualifications:
A healthy, intimate, and personal relationship with Jesus
Evident leadership giftedness
Excellent communication skills, especially verbal
Ability to relate to young people, earning their respect and trust
Strong management and organizational skills
