Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Primarily responsible for but not limited to: The operation of our can filler, lid feeder, Pak-

• Meet all QC/QA standards and practices
• Responsible for beer transfer from production through packaging and release
• Clean and sanitize packaging equipment and fulfill best practices
• Troubleshoot equipment, notify Canning Lead of any irregularities
• Keep meticulous records (packaging log & brewery software)
• Serve as a technical and educational resource for packaging operations; assist in

o Packaging, cleaning and maintenance best practices
o Inventory management & communication of inventory levels to Canning Lead

• Clean kegs, fill kegs, and store kegs and other packaged beer products in the cold box
• Facilitate canning line progress by unloading finished product; categorize, palletize and

conditions (i.e. with hazardous chemicals, handling of hazardous materials, exposure to
pressurized vessels and transfer lines)

• Adjust to varying schedule shifts
• Focus on run time efficiencies and quality finished goods.

Education & Experience:

• Prior packaging or canning line experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• OSHA and Forklift certification a plus
• Must have an interest and love of craft beer
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with Management at all times
• Ability to adjust to changing schedules and priorities
• Must be punctual, have good attendance, and a reliable means of transportation to work
• Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

be moderate or require hearing protection.

• Operate forklift, scissor lift, cart, hand truck, pallet wrapper and manual and powered

• Capable of safely lifting 160 lbs and be able to push/pull up to 230 lbs using a pallet jack
• This position will require you to stand, walk, and be on your feet for long periods
• Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights
• Regularly communicates and must be able to exchange accurate information
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,

peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
