Masis Staffing is seeking a Shipping Clerk for an electronic component manufacturing company in Chaska, MN. This is a Temp-To-Hire opportunity with weekly pay!
1st Shift – Monday – Friday –8 am – 5:30 pm - $18.00!
The Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for providing general labor to support a variety of packing, assembling, shipping, and receiving, to meet the facility’s productivity goals. The Shipper/Receiver reports to the S/R Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare computer-generated documentation such as labels, packing slips, bills of lading and other shipping and receiving records.
- Look up inventory in ERP system and pack, weigh, store, and transport goods to be shipped out either from inventory or from production sales orders or floor jobs.
- Contact and schedule freight carriers.
- Transport materials to other departments for production jobs.
- Maintain the work area (Storage areas, loading dock and Shipping area) and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Experience and Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS. safely and consistently.
- Must be able to work independently and have good time management skills.
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook Email) and inventory control.
- Must have good math skills to maintain accurate counts and records.
- Must have good written and oral skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
