As a case manager for A World for Children you will be responsible for working with families and children directly. You are responsible for maintaining communication with the foster family by providing supervision, support, training, documentation and intervention. Excellent time management and organizational skills are a must. A Bachelor's degree, preferably in social work or a related field is required. Travel is required to areas around and outside of Round Rock and surround counties - to include all of Region 7. The case manager needed at this time will mostly cover Round Rock, Killeen, Belton, Temple, and Waco but wouldn't be limited to these areas.

You will be assigned as a case manager for many of our foster homes and will work with them to ensure the state standards are being met in the home. You will visit any foster children that are placed in the home monthly to set goals, review progress, and help come up with a plan to address any difficulties. You will work with the family to ensure their annual training requirements are met and facilitate these trainings as needed. You will work with our placement director to match foster children to homes that you feel can meet their unique needs and provide support for the family during this time.

The individual also must have the following:

Excellent oral and written communication skills Well organized and successful with Time Management Able to motivate and engage staff and clients Able to problem solve quickly and confidently Able to handle and function under stress At least one year of experience working with emotionally disturbed children.

Ability to meet deadlines set forth through DFPS minimum standards and agency policies.

Salary: 31,000-36,000

Location: Round Rock, TX and surrounding counties such as; Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, and Lampasas

Travel Requirements: Yes- You will drive to each of the homes on your caseload monthly

Education Required: Bachelor's Degree preferably in social work or a related field is required.

Job Status: Full Time 40+ Hours including On-Call Duties
