As a Cash Posting Representative, you will ensure the success and the overall members' experience at our Centers because you ensure the bills they pay are submitted accurately and timely! Using your strong knowledge and billing expertise, you will have the opportunity to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of an effective billing system.
As a Cash Posting Representative you will have a number of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Posting cash and payer remittances to patient accounts and ensuring payment is posted to the appropriate financial system(s)
- Ensuring accurate and timely postings
- Accurately and timely processing and reconciling of payments, remittances and daily deposits
- Meeting productivity and quality goals and expectations.
- Contributing to an environment that believes in teamwork, trust and respect.
Qualifications of our Cash Posting Representatives including but are not limited to:
- H.S. Graduate/GED
- Minimum one (1) year experience working with cash and payer remittances/EOB
- Strong MS Office skills: Excel and Word
- Familiar with multiple healthcare patient accounting/billing systems preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to focus on detailed information
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Out of the box thinker that is able to – and wants to – troubleshoot when problems arise.
- Because we are a team environment, you will jump in where needed and assist with other duties and special projects as needed and assigned.
