District Pet Care is hiring part-time Cat Sitters to add to our growing team!

Do you love cuddling with cats or watching them stalk after a feather toy?

This job is ideal for those with flexible schedules, freelance workers, and shift workers who want to make extra money while snuggle cats!

We are currently hiring for morning (visits before 10:30am), daytime, and evening (between 4-7pm) availability for both weekdays and weekends. Please let us know your availability in the application questions.

We also provide care for other small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles!

We service a large portion of NW and SW DC including Dupont & Logan Circle, Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, Woodley Park, Cathedral Heights, Petworth, Shaw, Bloomingdale, Mount Vernon Triangle, Foggy Bottom, Georgetown, and the SW Waterfront neighborhoods.

Typical Duties Include:

• Lots of love and TLC
• Feeding and administering medication
• Cleaning up after pets
• Bringing in mail and packages
• Meet & Greets with new clients

• Paid on a per-visit basis, average wage is $17.25/hour
• Pet First Aid and CPR Training

Basic Requirements:

• Smart phone with internet access
• Reliable Transportation (car, bike, scooter, etc)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the US
