These will be at the forefront of delivering treatment to underserved communities by removing barriers to services and by establishing meaningful and trusting relationships with each individual and family. Our CBHC services include team based care, rapid response and flexible services that will enable us to serve as an entry point for timely, person-centered, mental health and addiction treatment on an urgent and ongoing basis for adults, children and families.

The Stabilization Manager will be responsible for the management and supervision of staff providing emergency stabilization, urgent care, and assessment services in the community. You will oversee the development of short- and long-term stabilization plans for clients/families in crisis to ensure follow up of supports and services; including safety planning and crisis planning. .

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and administrative direction to assigned staff members providing emergency stabilization services, urgent care services, and assessment services
  • Manage the deployment of stabilization clinicians and staff in the community
  • Supervise the development of stabilization plans for clients/families in crisis to ensure follow up supports and
    services
  • Supervise staff in providing short term evidence-based treatments to stabilize crisis situations including beginning the process of trauma treatment, providing immediate treatment of psychiatric illness, substance dependency, family therapy, and diagnostic assessment
  • Supervise and manage staff in the development of short-term treatment plans including safety planning and crisis planning
  • Ensure safety plans and crisis plans that are built on evidence-based practices, focus on stabilization, and maintaining personal safety and the safety of others
  • Provide clinical supervision and administrative supervision
  • Provide overall supervision and direction to assigned staff including performance evaluations and when necessary corrective actions plan’s and progressive disciplinary action.
  • Ensure warm handoffs between staff providing short term stabilization, staff providing urgent care services and CBHC Teams
  • Manage staff in the provision of urgent and immediate access to psychopharmacological services, medication assisted treatment, and immediate therapies

Qualifications:

  • Must be independently licensed e.g.: LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, RN, LRC
  • Master’s Degree in behavioral health care field
  • Three years of experience in a multi-disciplinary behavioral health setting; of which two years must include the provision of emergency, inpatient and/or diversionary behavioral health services and one-year supervisory experience.
  • Strong clinical, assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to make sound clinical judgements and decisions.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to triage multiple requests for crisis evaluations, with an emphasis on mobility and doing evaluations in the community.

Salary: $64K (32 hours per week)

6% salary increase if bilingual in needed language.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 7am-11pm

Experience

Required
  • 2 year(s): Provision of emergency, inpatient and/or diversionary behavioral health services and one-year supervisory experience.
  • 3 year(s): Experience in a multi-disciplinary behavioral health setting
