Job Description:

BCI is seeking candidates for a CDL Driver and Flex Operator role. Candidates must be self-motivated while able to work in a team environment. The CDL role transports materials between our production plant and out-bound warehouse. Additional routes for local deliveries or material pick-up may also be assigned. This roll will be split with another driver based on aptitudes, interests, and company need. The Flex Operator role has manufacturing and warehouse duties. Daily activity will be directed by a supervisor and may include hands-on, informational, and other activities. The ability to increase contribution by mastering skills and/or learning new information is critical to growth at BCI.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in USA and pass background check
• CDL Class A or B; Ability to obtain HAZMAT and TANKER endorsements
• Obtain forklift certification and operate forklifts safely
• Certified to wear a respirator; requires physical and facial grooming

Responsibilities: CDL (local deliveries/between company facilities)

• Manually or with forklift, load and unload company vehicle
• Daily inspections of truck and other equipment as needed
• Safely operate vehicle travelling between company locations and local customer and suppliers
• Maintain and utilize documentation; validate product information is compatible with BOLs; verify quantities/weights per BOL; correct placarding based on load requirements

Responsibilities: Warehouse (Reading, PA or Shartlesville, PA)

• Manually or with forklift, find and transport material to/from warehouse
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of warehouse and production areas
• Load/unload trailers considering product classification and weight distribution

Responsibilities: Production (Shartlesville, PA, as needed)

• Read and execute batch tickets: understand material/equipment needs
• Measure wet and dry chemicals and blend into mixture
• Understand / use appropriate PPE; perform tasks in a safe and orderly manner
