Autism Care Partners/City Pro Group is looking for Center Based Aides at our Bronx Center! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and children on the Autism Spectrum? Then come and join our team of dedicated professionals!
Center Based Aides will work under the direct supervision of a Head Classroom Teacher and will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, while providing 1 to 1 - play based therapy in a classroom setting, with children ranging from 18 months to 3 years of age.
Requirements:- Arrive on time and prepared for daily sessions
- Work collaboratively with a Head Classroom Teacher & Educational Director to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Complete through session notes immediately after session
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of students, their families and supervisor
- Attend Professional Development Training’s, as required
- Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- The ability to physically lift up to 50lbs.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or it’s equivalent; college student pursuing a degree in one of the following field preferred: Early Childhood Education/ Special Education, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Services, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children with developmental delays or children setting preferred
- Ability to work closely with children between the ages of 0 – 3yr
- Applicants with personal related experience are encouraged to apply
