As a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician, you will refill and replenish prescription requests in an automated central fill pharmacy setting. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician prepares packages and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment. - Operates and manipulates automated machinery as trained to assemble prescriptions as required
- Reads computer generated screens to find indicated merchandise on labeled shelves, verify size and strength of the product before selecting order
- Inventories cycle counts of each medication to maintain inventory
- Performs cleaning and maintenance on all work areas
- Counts or pours pharmaceuticals
- Places pharmaceutical products in appropriate containers and affixes labels to containers in Bulk
- Monitors prescription inventory for expired pharmaceuticals
- Maintains the floor in a clean and orderly condition
- Receives and stores incoming supplies
- Assists in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory
- Folds and packs paperwork with prescriptions to prepare for shipping
- Sorts orders by store location and places in totes for shipping
- Verifies paperwork with received items from DC
- Separates product by lot numbers and expiration dates
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Ability to meet minimum age and other requirements as set forth in state law.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
- Pharmacy Technician experience or education required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Pharmacy Technician registration or certification where required by state law.
