DESCRIPTION
Supporting the Central Privacy Compliance team to build out the Enterprise Compliance approach to privacy risks, controls, monitoring and testing
Supporting on firm-wide risk assessments processes to assess privacy risks and controls and assisting with the production of guidance for BU/Regional Privacy Leads
Keeping abreast of regulatory changes that impact the Firm's privacy risks and controls
Assisting with gap analysis and implementation of controls for new rules
Assisting with Firmwide training
Supporting the secretary of the Global Data Protection and Privacy Committee (GDPPC)
Undertaking reporting and ad-hoc projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Skills:
Ability to collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams/individuals at all levels
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated organizational skills, proactive work ethic and team player mindset
An interest in Privacy regulations and a willingness to learn and develop

Knowledge of compliance, risk management, legal or related function
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $100,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
