Position Summary : Responsible for providing excellent customer communication and coordination of services between patients, families, and rehabilitation services. Interacts with patients, families, referring physician offices and other departments regularly. Performs duties including: Contacting patients from EPIC Work queues and scheduling at appropriate locations across SPHP Outpatient locations (both Samaritan and Sunnyview sites), completes all workflows related to accurate scheduling. Works assigns work queues. Supports general office flow through completion of clerical duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Works as a team member knowledgeable in all aspects of all front-end requirements of each Rehab discipline which includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech.
Education Requirements : High School Diploma preferred. Associates Degree Preferred. BLS Heart Saver preferred.
Experience Requirements : One year of experience in medical office setting or similar environment requiring strong communication skills and customer interaction. Computer and telephone skills required with knowledge of key applications (fax, electronic documents, word processing, use of on-line applications).
