At the Glasgow State Nursing Facility, Crown Health has the privilege to accept applications for a Certified Medication Technician! This facility provides long-term mental health care. These Full or Part-time opportunities are available on the 8-hour & Night Shift with new higher pay rates $19.50 - $20.50 per hour.

2nd Shift:

• 3:00 pm- 11:00 pm

Night:

• 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

*Required to rotate weekends.

This career opportunity is temporary with the intent to hire. While on assignment as a Crown Jewel, you can expect to enjoy such benefits as weekly pay, ACA accredited health benefits, direct deposit or pay card, and the ongoing support of your Crown Healthcare - Bowling Green Staffing Team, who work to advocate for your success! After successfully completing the required 1500 hours, you may be considered for permanent placement.

As a Certified Medication Technician, you can expect to:

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications and treatment
• Take temperature, pulse, and respiration to record in resident’s chart
• Assist with resident personal hygiene such as bathing, dental and oral care, and nail and hair care
• Collect, label, and record sputum, urine, or stool specimens for laboratory analysis
• Situate bedfast residents in correct and comfortable positions and turn residents every two hours
• Record residents’ food and fluid intake, bowel movements, and urine output

Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:

• Certified Nursing Assistant license that is active with KY Board of Nursing or ‘Composite States’
• Must possess a Certified Medication Technician State Letter authorizing the passing of medications
• Experience is preferred but not required
• CPR Certification preferred but can be offered on-site
