Certified Medication Aide $6000 Sign on Bonus Job at Lakeview Village
Job Purpose
Provides physical and medical care under the leadership of a professional nurse, to the residents of the assigned neighborhood. Sets up, administers, and documents medications in the appropriate charting systems and in the residents medical records. Ensures that care is provided based on the residents individual plan of care, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Serves as the residents closest advocate, directing their care and honoring their preferences.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess and maintain a current Medication Aide certification in Kansas.
- Must possess a current and valid CNA license.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- One year of experience as a CMA in Long Term Care is preferred.
- Must have intermediate computer and keyboarding skills.
- Must possess an intermediate level knowledge of medical terminology.
- Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
- Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
