OVERVIEW

Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.

Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.

Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

You have a High School Diploma

Associate’s degree in healthcare studies preferred

1 year experience in healthcare as a Nurse Assistant

Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish preferred

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

You have and maintain the following certifications:

BLS

Certified Nurse Assistant

You’re able to break down technical information in a way that everyone can clearly understand. You’re able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language.
