VHS is looking for Certified Nurse Assistants/Medical Assistants to join our team for Community Vaccination Events!!
Project will run November 1st thru May 31st
On-call pay will be provided for days assigned with event pay during vaccination events.
Active LA License Required
Active BLS required
Minimum of 12 months experience in clinic or bedside patient care/specialty
3 days per week (Thursday thru Saturday)
24 hrs per week: 8 hrs per day x 3 days per week
On-Call Pay: $17/hr
Event Pay: $30/hr
Weekly Gross based on on-call and possible 1 event scheduled: $408 - $512/wk
This job works collaboratively under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse to maintain patient safety and provide for the delivery of basic patient care. May provide constant observation of the patient and notifies nursing personnel of changes in behavior or status and when leaving the room, and intervenes as needed to maintain patient safety. Communicates effectively with co-workers, patients, family and visitors. They perform all functions delegated by the nurse staff and adhere to the policies and procedures.
- Providing restorative nursing care to residents
- Provide quality nursing care to residents
- Report the vital signs of residents
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Performing basic nursing care procedures for residents
- Obtain patient vital signs and assist with patient toileting needs
- Provide patients with good patient care
- Report vital signs and weights on residents
- Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursing care procedures
- Obtaining and recording vital signs for residents
- Perform basic patient care activities
- Take vital signs and changes bed
- Provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established nursing care procedures
- Provide the residents with routine daily care
- Provide basic nursing assistance and assist residents with daily living activities
- Evaluate nursing care on assigned resident
- Record vital signs and intake/output
- Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing and feeding
- Provide resident with exceptional activity of daily living care to include vital signs, feeding, toileting, bathing, and ora
