Sauk Centre Care Center currently has part-time and full-time openings. Many shifts and schedules are available. Shifts include day, evening, or overnights and include working every other or every third weekend.

Pay Details:

• Pay starting at $16.73 per hour based off experience
• $1,500 sign-on bonus option

Some of the people we help have cognitive and physical impairments and they rely on us. You’ll learn to prioritize and develop an incredible depth of knowledge. It’s not easy but it is rewarding- and the longer you do it, the better you’ll get.

Here are some ways you’ll serve those we care for:

• Interact with them to promote comfort, and express compassion and empathy
• Critical monitoring, like measuring blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration – so we can better assess their health
• Transport them to appointments and meals
• Walking – It’s one of the most important things we can do for them- and you get to help them do it safely
• Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) – these are things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to, or need help doing themselves
  • ADLs include bathing, brushing teeth, toileting, feeding, and more

Position Requirements:

• Nursing Assistant Certified listed on the MN State Nursing Assistant Registry
  • if you are not currently certified, we offer paid training (See below), you can still apply here!
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, can be obtained once hired
• No experience is necessary; just a desire to help others
• Age 16+ may apply

• February 23rd Melrose (Includes Weekends)
• February 23rd St. Cloud (Weekdays)

Training Details:

• You receive paid training while we cover the costs for your tuition and the State Exam
• Training includes on-site and remote days
• Roughly 32 hours of computer modules, prior to proctored exams
• Proctored exams: two in-person exams taken on the same day
• Skills: three various days of skill training 8am-4:30pm
• Clinicals: two various days 8am-4:30pm
• State Exam: must be completed after training
• Permanent position after certification is completed

You will receive mileage reimbursement for your travel to training, if you are not completing at the site you will work

Sign-on bonus requirements : To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
